Yet another design change for my main site. I just wasn't happy with the last one I made only a few months ago. This one now implements most of what I wanted to do originally. Somehow I got sidetracked before and was in a hurry. All the content is the same so I was able to go live after only 2 days of work on the design template. Mobile ready as well. Here we go!
I've always wanted a fast way to display everything in my site. Sure you can add a search box and offer drop down menus but I feel accordion blocks of content can replace menus all together and drop down menus don't work well for touch screen devices. I also wanted to display my graphics and video galleries quickly without loading a new page so I used some lightbox scripts to overlay the images and videos. The mobile version requires no extra work since it pulls all the same content as the main site. And now the iPhone version is the exact same design and layout as the desktop version. There are still improvements to be made so I'm not done.
